Word of the Week-Journey

Journey-The act of traveling from one place to another; a trip; a distance to be traveled or the time required for a trip; A process or course likened to traveling; a passage

I like the passage definition best. It describes most accurately what a journey is-not necessarily and end or a destination but a place to pass through.

Monday-What journey are you on right now? Is the path smooth or rocky? Do you know where you are trying to end up or are you just moving forward?

Tuesday-Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it. -Greg Anderson. I focused on the end result with sewing but the journey was full of mishaps and humor!

Wednesday: Today focus on the journey in your vehicle rather than the end destination. Really pay attention to what is going on in your car, mind and those around you. Did this make driving a more pleasant or more painful experience for you?!

Thursday-To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping -Chinese Proverb What is one step you need to take today on your journey to greatness?

Friday-It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end -Ursula K. LeGuin Ponder this for a moment.
